The news media is portraying bath salts as really terrible. Are they really as bad as the media makes them out to be? Anyone have any accurate information on that stuff? That face chewing guy was an isolated incident .. .. ... right? The media used to say pot would do the same sort of thing to someone. Are these stories about bath salts simply more media hype, or is this actually the real deal which we should take seriously?

Bath Salts is just another name for some adulterated chemical cocktail that is being marketed to kids as a cheap high.
However, like glue and paint huffing this stuff will rot your brain one way or another. That destruction is what produces the high. Alcohol has the same affect but also attacks other organs.

I looked at the video. Don't know if he was acting or not. I still remember the tremendous amount of scare tactic hype associated with pot in the 60's. Is the reporting on bath salts just a similar pattern of exaggerated hype? Is there real reason for elevated concern about bath salt use in this country.
