Billions a month spent by the government buying up mortgage securities yet the homeowners see squat. So the only ones that benefit are the fatcats at the top of the food chain.
I did not know that Brevard County leads the pack in foreclosures but it does not surprise me. We must have a mortgage company friendly judiciary here.

Check out FLT newspaper on Tuesdays,there is a chit load of foreclosers in the courts.

Clearly none of you read anything beyond the 2 paragraph non-story referenced in the link. There's actually quite a bit of information out there on exactly what is happening. Brevard's standing is not surprising at all, since they led the nation at the height of the real estate boom. Just on that basis alone it only makes sense that it will take longer to recover. Brevard's real estate market is recovering, albeit slowly. There are a number of reasons and factors at work affecting that process.

You actually still believe that this nation will recover from its economic mess of the last 4 years? Oh wait...you didnt vote for Obama.. Yes I do believe that we will recover. There are signs of recovery in pockets across the country, and history shows us clearly that these events occur and we've always had the ability and desire to recover. If you're convinced we won't you should move to another country and let someone else have your job. Oh wait, you're not going to go that far! I didn't vote for Obama or Romney. |

First off, NASA is not being closed.
Second, President Bush signed the NASA Authorization Act of 2008. Not bashing him, just stating a recorded fact that the program changes were initiated during the Bush Administration.
Let me ask you experts a question: do either of you know the amount of money NASA spent to administer the shuttle program? Do either of you know any of the sources of those funds?

Tomjor is right. There are pockets of recovery. The government is hiring like crazy. They have fantastic benefits. The government is a wonderful pocket of recovery. They reach into the citizens pockets as they recover from their last binge of unrestrained spending.
