A 15 year old kid from Maine turning the medical world on it's ear.
He contacted 197 scientists to help him with his idea. They all turned him down cold. He finally found one who agreed to give him lab space and assist him with his idea.
Currently 19 out of 20 die from pancreatic cancer simply because they cannot find it in the early stages.
This 15 year old kid has come up with a dipstick type self test which can find the cancer in it's earliest stages. Three cents per test. More accurate. Can find it in the earliest stages. Results known in 5 minutes. Is adaptable for other diseases.
This kid has developed a process where you could go to the local drug store and purchase a self test to administer in your home with the results available in minutes. Then you can go to the doctor with definitive information. Since doctors ask the patient what is wrong with them anyhow, it makes sense to be able to accurately tell them what is wrong.
