The department of Homeland Security has purchased enough bullets and ammo during the last 10 months to fight a full fledged war for 30 years if that ammo is expended at the same rate that U.S. soldiers expended their ammo during the height of the military operations in Iraq?
Huh? That b a lot of lead for the purported purpose of protecting lil ole me from home grown extremists here in this country.

Maybe they got the ammo from the military at cut rate since they are facing a $1 trillion cut from the Pentagon budget. They dont need bullets anymore since they are killing innocents with drones.

One huge batch of hollow points was ordered from a dummy corporation formed 3 days prior to being awarded the contract. No physical address is listed for the corporation. Who and where they are is a mystery. What is not a mystery is they got a multi million dollar order from homeland security.

.....it's just in case the "big rock" hits amd there's civil unrest. They cannot possibly shoot 1.6 billion rounds of ammo. So what they gonna do with them? Throw them in the hole the big rock makes? It better be a big big big hole. And that is just the rounds for Homeland Security. That number does not include the ones for the social security dept, the NOAA, and the other govt. organizations which also received an unreasonable amount of ammo for which an unreasonable explanation was provided, by unreasonable govt. officials.
