Anybody have any interesting travel destinations planned for the near future?
If all goes according to plan we'll be hiking in the Rockies next month - not terribly exotic, but a nice break from the grind.

Actually, muffin, Sneaka-kid #1 used to ride that RR to and from town when she worked at the zip-line resort outside of Durango last year. The train ride is on our list of things to do while there. Good call!
Meanwhile, it sounds like Yugo & Cocoa are fixin ta R-U-N-N-O-F-T..

Going to Auburn Hills, MI for three of the four weeks of June. At least it will be cooler and not Detroit.

Hopefully Ill get a chance to go back to Monument Valley at the Utah-Arizona state line for the third time.If you've never been there you dint know what you're missing.

We are headed to Nebraska for a wedding this week. My niece is getting married at the zoo. Reception will be in the new aquarium.
Mr Fishy is retiring on June 21, then off for a week in West Palm Beach.
End of July we are driving to Iowa to meet the little fishy's and spend some time with the folks. We going to meander home with lots of sight seeing along the way. Stopping at the new Margaritaville Casino in Biluxi.
Have fun in Colorado Sneaks. Maybe you can find Bronco while you're out there.

Are you talking about Estero Bay Preserve state park area... a little spit of land and some backwaters that are wedged between Ft. Myers Beach and Bonita Beach? We were kayaking in that area about a month ago. |

You turned us on to this place a couple of years ago. We had a great time and are planning another trip in the fall. Had a great time exploring all the places Randy Wayne White wrote about in his Doc Ford series. If you have never read the books they are great for light summer reading. I think I'll start calling you Tomlinson. He's the stoner that has a "way" with the ladies and it turns out he's ubber smart with a PHD from Harvard.  |
