Don't know if it works or if it is legal but it certainly looks cool. I like the concept. It would be nice if it works.

Simplest solution is to avoid running red lights. Not running a red light is no problem. When there is a wide intersection and the light turns yellow after entering the intersection and when traffic is screwing around in front of you for some reason, it is possible to not make it through the light before it turns red. Plus locals have been known to alter the yellow light timing by shortening the time, to increase the amount of people they can ticket. I have had the light turn yellow after I entered an intersection and it did turn red before I got all the way through the intersection. Too often, municipalities are simply using the camera to scam people out of money. It has nothing to do with safety.

Simplest solution is to avoid running red lights. Who does that nowadays,Im seeing more and more of them. I saw 2 cars doing it at Pineda Crossing Sunday. So the game is "I can pass that red faster then you". Its not the enforcement that works, its the amount of the fine, $500 for a first offense running the red would do it. Running the red is almost the same as attempted murder nowadays.

I see it daily; 192 and Hollywood/Evans, 192 and Dairy. We've tried the cameras, and there are too many issues with them. Time for something else, apparently. Double the fines. Problem is, you have to catch the offenders, somehow.

Cop at intersection has been catching them for decades. They even get the actual individual who was driving.
