Listen here, It's easy. I am talking about a regular service. When the volume is painful or uncomfortable for some, then it is too loud. Turn the stuff down. Sure some like it louder but dialing it back to where it is not physically uncomfortable to people will not cause people to leave. However, if it is physically uncomfortable to some because it is too loud then there will be some who will leave. There is a difference between joyful noise and painful noise. It's not rocket science. Do you really suppose that Jesus would blast people out of the service through painfully loud music. There is a level which would cause no one to leave. Save the blasting loud for a special event specifically for that purpose.
