No, teachers should not be armed. Only the people who are away from the school should be armed. God forbid someone present in the schoolwhen violence erupts is armed. We would not want someone actually on site who can stop murderers. That would be terrible. The best remedy is to pass laws preventing the population from purchasing arms. While they are at it they need to go through the land confiscating all firearms. That way the populace would not be able to protect themselves, even on their own property or in their own home. We have police to protect us, .. .. right? Doesn't every one have a cop in their pocket? Every home needs to have a clearly visible sign posted in the window facing the road which states all firearms have been removed from that home. Just imagine how peaceful it would be if all law abiding citizens were disarmed. Perfect peace. We all know it is as hard for a criminal to get a firearm illegally as it is get pot or some other drugs. Pert near totally impossible.
