It is indeed a fake holiday, but then so is Christmas, and Easter. Christ was not born on Christmas day and He did not rise from the dead on Easter Sunday. Santa, pine trees, wreaths, mistletoe etc. has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus and a bunny plus an easter egg have nothing to do with the Resurrection of Christ. It's just that Kwanzaa is a newer fake holiday pandering to a different demographic so is not entrenched well enough to be as big of an economic bonanza for the commercial business interests .. .. .. yet.
