How people don't get this is beyond me. There was something wrong with that 15 year kid. You start there. Banning the AR-15 will not stop these types of incidents. He could easily have used a 9mm with a clip holding 18 or more rounds, which he could empty in about 4 seconds. He could easily carry extra clips, which he could switch out in a matter of seconds, then continue shooting.

So you approved of what he could of used instead of a AR-15.....damn....Never thought of that one.

So you approved of what he could of used instead of a AR-15.....damn....Never thought of that one. That's ridiculous. I never said or even remotely implied I approved of what he did, or what he could have used. You're not making any sense. My point was very clear. I can't help it you can't get that. You want to ban AR-15s. I said that's a waste of time - because that's not what the problem is. He could have used a 9mm Glock and fired off 60-90 rounds in a matter of minutes. So you ban the AR-15 but what did you really accomplish? Do you really believe that if AR-15s were banned he couldn't have carried out his actions??? Me point, which I clearly stated, is that there's something wrong with the kid. You need to start there.

Trying again, the point was that you don't just start banning certain weapons because it happens to be the weapon du jour. Rather, you start with figuring out what is going on in the person's head. I wasn't suggesting you do that. That's a job for professionals.
