Does anybody really understand this chit?

The 14 year old came to me last night with an algebra problem that I had no idea how to solve and just last week after talking with her guidance counselor she says half the high school algebra classes are failing this subject.
Told her to ask on the internet and PRONTO she got the answer.
It seems like we dont need teachers anymore when we can just ask wikipedia.

I was very good at math till they started putting letters in the equation.(g)

So whats the answer ? The internet?
