Its gonna cost ya $30 if you are caught texting as the driver but wait here's the good news "a second violation within 5 years of the first would result in a $60 fine"whoopeee
The usual points and court fees also apply.
In Orlando its about $230 for running a red light,hmmmm wonder what it cost in Brevard? $75/125?

The fines are the same the same in all fl counties for traffic violations. Thats why they call it the Florida Uniform traffic citation. And you're right it should be about that much for texting and driving too! Or more!

All I'm saying is these fines for traffic violation are ridiculously low,if they would hit them HARD in the pocketbook they might think twice before doing it again and maybe save some lives.
